Favicon generator

Turn your logo into a complete favicon set in one step: a multi-size favicon.ico, a 180 px Apple touch icon, 192 and 512 px icons for Android and web apps, and the HTML lines to paste into your site. Your image is processed locally.

How to generate a favicon

  1. 1

Drop a square logo, ideally 512×512 px or larger, as PNG, JPG or WebP.

  2. 2

Optionally choose which sizes go into favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px by default).

  3. 3

Download the ZIP, upload the files to your site’s root and paste the HTML snippet.

What a favicon set contains

Browsers and operating systems look for icons in several places: favicon.ico in the site root, PNG icons declared in the page’s <head>, and the Apple touch icon used for home-screen shortcuts on iPhone and iPad. This generator produces all of them from one source image, keeping transparency.

Non-square images are centred on a transparent square instead of being stretched. For the sharpest small icons, start from a simple, bold logo — fine details disappear at 16 px.

Frequently asked questions

Which files do I get?

favicon.ico (16, 32 and 48 px inside one file), favicon-32x32.png, apple-touch-icon.png (180 px), icon-192.png and icon-512.png.

Where do I put the files?

Upload them to the root folder of your website so they are available at /favicon.ico, /apple-touch-icon.png and so on. Then paste the provided <link> tags into the <head> of your pages.

What are the 192 and 512 px icons for?

They are used by Android and by installable web apps (PWA). Reference them in your web app manifest if you have one.

Can I use an SVG logo?

Convert it to PNG first with the SVG to PNG tool at 512 px or more, then use the PNG here.

Is my logo uploaded?

No. All icons are generated in your browser and saved directly to your device.
