About HEIC and PDF

HEIC is the photo format iPhones and iPads use by default. It saves space, but many websites, offices, and government portals accept only PDF or JPG, and a stack of separate photos is awkward to send.

PDF combines many pages into one file that looks the same on every device and prints reliably. Each HEIC photo is decoded and placed on its own page as a high-quality JPEG image, with its orientation corrected.

Private by design

  • Processed on your device — files are never uploaded.
  • Works offline once the page has loaded.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Why we never upload your files

Frequently asked questions

Can I put several HEIC photos into one PDF?

Yes, that is the main purpose of this tool. Add as many photos as you need, arrange them, and they become consecutive pages of a single PDF.

Which page size should I pick for scanned documents?

Choose A4 or US Letter if the PDF will be printed or uploaded to a form — each photo is scaled to fit the page with a small margin. “Fit to image” makes every page exactly the size of its photo.

Will the photos lose quality inside the PDF?

HEIC cannot be embedded in a PDF directly, so each photo is re-encoded as a high-quality JPEG (92%). Text and details stay sharp; the difference from the original is practically invisible.

Can I mix HEIC with JPG or PNG files?

Yes. You can add HEIC, JPG, PNG, WebP, and other supported images to the same list; they all end up in one PDF.

Is it safe for passports and other private documents?

Yes. The HEIC decoder and the PDF builder both run inside your browser. Your photos are never uploaded, so nobody else can see them.
