About JPG and PDF

JPG is the standard format for photos and phone scans. Sending many separate image files, however, is awkward for documents, applications, and invoices.

PDF packs multiple pages into one file that looks the same on every device and can be printed reliably. JPG images are embedded into the PDF without re-compression, so no quality is lost.

Private by design

  • Processed on your device — files are never uploaded.
  • Works offline once the page has loaded.
  • No limits on file count or size beyond what your device can handle.

Frequently asked questions

Does converting JPG to PDF reduce image quality?

No. JPG images are placed into the PDF as they are, without re-encoding, so the pages are pixel-identical to your originals.

Can I change the order of the pages?

Yes. Drag the images in the list, or use the up and down buttons (keyboard-friendly), before creating the PDF. The first image becomes page 1.

What page size should I choose?

“Fit to image” makes each page exactly the size of its photo. Choose A4 or US Letter if you plan to print or submit the document — images are scaled to fit with a small margin, keeping their proportions.

Can I mix JPG and PNG images in one PDF?

Yes. You can add JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and other supported images; they are all combined into the same PDF.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is generated by your browser. This makes the tool safe for passports, contracts, and other sensitive scans.
